SPECTRUM presents the work of 8 MA Contemporary Fine Art students at University of Cumbria. This end of year show will see the fine art department host an array of work from graduates and 1st year students over 2 floors within the Brampton Road Campus and nearby at The Pharmacy Contemporary Art Space.
The past 12 months have offered many opportunities for the artists to expand individual art practice and explore theories and ideologies concerning their chosen threads of enquiry into contemporary fine art. For these emerging artists, printmaking, painting, sculpture, photography, found objects, video, audio and installation are interchangeable elements to be explored and experimented with in order to make observations about the world today and their experiences of it.
